Big Picture is a collaboration of visual arts organisations and professionals in Dorset working with Dorset County Council to sustain and develop vibrant visual arts in the county
 

Its members are Artsreach, Bridport Arts Centre, B-side, Dorset Visual Arts, PVA MediaLab, Sherborne House Arts, and Walford Mill Crafts.

CURRENT PROJECT: Exploratory Laboratory (ExLab) is one of the outstanding projects granted the London 2012 Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme, which recognises exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 Games.

The Jurassic Coast has been described as a linear laboratory for the earth sciences. It's rocks, beautifully exposed and accessible along its length, sequentially record 185 million years of the Earth's history and display a superb range of active coastal processes. Everyone can explore the wonders that this coastline has to offer, but it holds a lot of excitement for scientists to learn from the coast, understand its formation and support its future.
